                                                                          Joining The Gaelic Club












                                                                          Wellington GAA is made up of about 150 playing members and a broader family of over 500 supporters across the country.
                                                                          We welcome everyone - please do come and join us.  The following backgrounds are common amongst our players:

                                                                          1. People just looking for a run around on a weekday or weekend - a bit of fun and an maybe an opportunity    to socialise. This represents 70% of our members.
                                                                          2. Irish people who have emigrated to NZ and have played the sport at home
                                                                          3. NZ Rugby or AFL players looking for an off-season sport to sharpen their skills.
                                                                          4. People looking to improve their fitness levels in a supportive team environment.

                                                                          We are an open club and to join, just contact us at info@wellingtongaa.com or telephone any of our committee members and they will get you stuck in.  Alternatively just attend our next scheduled training session or game   and we can take it from there.

                                                                          And the Best of all is that there is No Membership fee, so while you'll have to for out hundreds of dollars for Soccer and Rugby, rest assured that playing Gaelic Football wont cost you a thing.
